DIving into our topic, we break down the ideas and consequences of slut shaming, but more specifically, slut shaming in the swinging lifestyle. We reference real life examples that have been directed at us, as well as identify how easy it is to fall into judging others.

Welcome to Episode 48 of the Swinging Flamingos Podcast.

We had a bit of an extended break from recording due to work and family obligations, but we are back with a fun new offering. In this episode, we catch you up an a lot (but not all) of the things we have been doing in the lifestyle .

For starters, we cover a few of the reason we have decided this will be our final season . We have come to the point that we will turn off he mics and focus on other endeavors . As we’ve said before, this is JUST stories of what we do…NOT who we are.

Wow, what can we say about this episode, other than we had a very ODD experience at a pool party, that left both of us in awe. The events of this party led into some discussions about safety in the LS, as well as the imporatane of not only understanding CONSENT, but also practacing it.

Since we are getting deeper into the “Hot-Husbanding” realm…we chat about how approaching women in different types of relationships can be tricky.

Episode 37 ” Its Podbash Baby”!

After nearly a three month hiatus from recording, we are BACK with another action packed episode of our travels. At over an hour and half of content , we apparently had a lot to say!

We start this episode by catching the listeners up with where we have been. Life isn’t always sunshine and roses, and sometimes you have to deal with real problems .

From there we start with a review of Secrets Hideaway resort in Kissimee Florida. This may not be a popular review amongst regulars there, but we find it to be honest based on our few visits.

We then spend the next hour talking about the INCREDIBLE time we had at Podbash this year. We just can say it enough…Podbash is an AMAZING week with AMAZING people.

In Episode 28 “We Be Clubbin” we talk about our recent disdain for the lifestyle club scene in general.

We start out catching the listeners up on our recent adventures. We talk about a crazy house party where we felt out of place. We go on a few dates that end in some fun and messy play time. And finally we cover Mrs Flamingos 41st birthday party we threw at an air BnB, that involved some of our sexy friends.

In our main topic, we go over some problems that we have been dealing with in our our experiences with Lifestyle and Swinger clubs.

We go undercover as newbies at a well know local Lifestyle club chain, in an honest effort to get a perspective if new people are REALLY welcomed into the scene with open arms. What we find out may surprise you.

Then we spend some time going over complaints from our recent trips to what we considered our favorite LS club, and how we have been let down by the direction it seems to be going.

We finish our club tour with an unexpected twist. We take a last minute date to the local Gay clubs for a drag show, and ended up having the most fun we have had anywhere in some time.

Maybe we are getting to old for the club scene?
